Keiko Sena who is an author of picture book since 1970’s. This is an official picture book of Keiko Sena exhibition of the 50th anniversary of “Nenaiko Dareda (Who’s Not Sleeping)” release. She acquired “pasted paper picture” technique from her handmade picture books for her children with using wrapping papers and flyer. The crying face of kids and the angry face of mothers are easy to understand their emotions, and they are very heartwarming. She created a piece of work while childcare for her children. I feel that her picture book is packed with the feelings of both the book writer and mother. You can enjoy with your children by flipping through her picture book. In addition, you might remember your childhood from her pictures and given a little chuckle to you.
